Location Great. Service Terrible. The rooms...meh at best. I mean I have stayed worse places, don't expect a night of romance and luxury because these are a step above a dorm room. First, The room...Lacks proper maintenance. Deadbolt was broken. Door barely latched and you could see remnants of poor handyman work to get it to catch. The A/C unit had a pair of channel locks sitting on top of it for those that wanted to change the setting. The bathroom floor tile was popping out and felt like the subfloor was moving whenever you walked on it or sat on the toilet. (We are smaller people!) The Tv wall mount was connected to the wall, but the TV sat on the dresser below, which made it difficult for late night TV viewing without sitting on the end of the bed. The soaps and conditioners were ALL empty.The window shade was basic and didn't do the job of blocking out the exterior lights that blinded you laying in bed all night long. The service, was severely lacking as it s a place out of Cali I think that manages this place and they are barely able to be gotten ahold of, and if you do, the language barrier is frustrating. The location of this place is awesome. Easy in, easy out. The "creamery" we found a little sketchy, wondered if it was even open some days. The beds are comfy. The shower is hot water. The refrigerator is appreciated. But cleanliness, maintenance, and cost need to be better considering. I feel we severely overpaid for this place. There is a better place, up the hill, with a great view, and about the same price and much better service...A PERSON ACTUALLY THERE!!! This place has NO ONE in person. We likely won't be back and will be advising our friends. 3 weeks, and I have yet to get a response for them to correct my bill they overcharged me on.

Ice Cream Shop: Very good overall. Locally sourced, honey-based, and overall, something more unique than a Ben and Jerry's or other stores using brands that anyone can grab at any grocery store out there. The Coffee flavor is smooth and the best I've ever had, hands down. My family always goes to this shop over any of the more commercial stores in town. ??

No one influenced me to leave this review. My best friend told me she ate here and how amazing it was. The chef has wine flour, yes, wine flour that can be dusted on the dough before adding toppings, that was glorious. So we drove 2 hours to come here. I believed her, but now I get it. I just had the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life! Give the master chef, Mario, a raise! I can’t believe how outstanding the flavors and texture, crispiness, and freshness just exploded in my mouth! If you have the good fortune to be in Watkins Glen, you must eat here. There’s an ice creamery here too with a long and respectable line. Don’t skip out on the most amazing pizza in the United States.

Our experience here was absolutely terrible. First, the air conditioning did not work at all. It was completely dead, making the room uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. When it came time to shower, we discovered that every soap dispenser in the room was empty. The body wash, hand soap, and shampoo were all completely out, with only conditioner remaining. To make matters worse, the room was stocked with only half a roll of toilet paper and no spare roll. We contacted management to report the issue, but no one ever followed up. We ultimately had to leave and buy our own toilet paper something I have never had to do at any hotel before. The room didn’t even include basic amenities such as a box of tissues. Then, in the middle of the night, the shower handle literally fell off while it was not being used. What was most disturbing, however, was discovering that a large red stain on the comforter had been intentionally hidden by placing a sheet over it. I initially thought it was strange that there was a sheet covering the comforter, but when I removed it, I found a large visible stain underneath. If you stay here, expect to be completely on your own. This place is worse than many Airbnb rentals. Do not expect the service, cleanliness, or support that should come with a hotel stay. There was seemingly no one available or willing to help with even the most basic issues, and the overall experience was one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had.

The TV does not work. The room is freezing. The conditions of the room are unsafe with a broken window, no curtains, and severely unclean bathroom. The shower handle fell off every time we tried to use it. The manager tried to scam me with some bizarre offer for an "all-expense paid trip to the DR" when I asked for a refund of the one-night stay, which from the least malicious assumption is a con. Staff were pretty nice and accommodating but unfortunately unable to address any of the problems above, leading me to think it may be a deeper management issue. Not sure how this place has such high ratings after a such a rough experience.

Excellent ??!!! Very nice Place! Thankfully for service BARBARA and every one employee this Place from our Souls and ? Heart!!! We will be highly recommend all our friends Colonial Inn & Creamer! We a coming back. Viktor and Zemfira.

Room was dirty. Not previous guest dirty but hadn't been well cleaned in weeks. Heat was not operational. There was a small space heater that was noisey. Small window a/c looked like it was ready to fall out. Did I mention the place was dirty. I was in room #2. $50 a night would be over priced. Watkins Glen is a beautiful place to visit and this Inn is perfectly located but very very poorly run.

Enjoyed Brick oven pizza cooked over real wood chips for excellent flavor and crisp bottom! Mario was busy, but very helpful. The creamery ice cream was so good! Great service as well! I'll be back as I travel a few times a year up 14 through Watkins Glenn.

Rather spartan room, but very clean. Manager was VERY helpful. Off season, but made sure heat worked, TV worked, and we had extra blankets. Emergency stop in the middle of an ice storm. What a lifesaver!

Just stayed while working in the area . Room was cleaned with bleach so very sterile. Everything is white and there is no decor . The heat didn’t work so it was damp and left a film on the walls and floor which went away after an hour of heat from the provided space heater . When asked where I stayed by locals the response was “ Oh no don’t ever stay there again “ . The creamery was closed for the season as well as the wood fire pizza . Other than location and charm it needs work .
