The Red Kettle Inn Bed and Breakfast offers a charming and memorable stay in Watkins Glen, known for its warm hospitality and delicious homemade breakfasts. Situated in a convenient location, guests can easily explore local attractions like the state park, wineries, and restaurants, all within walking distance. This inn provides a comfortable and welcoming experience with a focus on personalized service and unique character.
We had a wonderful stay at the Red Kettle! The house has so much character and charm, and it's location is perfect - walking distance from the state park and restaurants. The inn is cozy a d well kept, but what truly makes it special is the amazing host, who makes you feel right at home. Each morning, we enjoyed a fresh homemade breakfast that was absolutely delicious and prepared with care. The combination of warm hospitality, great food, and a beautiful, convenient setting made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend! Tip: be sure to try the pizza and cannoli across the street- it's fantastic!
Trudi was a generous and hospitable host. Our family of 9 visited for a weekday, just one night and we very much enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was a highlight.
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Red Kettle Inn, and cannot recommend it enough! Trudi is a wonderful host: a fantastic conversationalist, a great source of local knowledge, and a talented chef. Every morning started with a multi-course seasonal breakfast and nice chat with other guests. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was a great home-base for wine tasting in the area, and we loved being able to walk into Watkins Glen right from the Inn. Can't wait to return in the future!
We stayed 4 nights in the Rose Room at the Red Kettle Inn. The inn is conveniently located and within walking distance of the waterfront, main street with restaurants and shopping, and Watkins Glen State Park. It’s also positioned for visiting wineries around the lake. Accommodations are quaint and comfortable. Breakfast is different every day and is always a fun and delicious surprise. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests in the morning, too. Trudi, the innkeeper, is an absolute delight. So kind and helpful. We would highly recommend staying at the Red Kettle Inn to anyone who might be visiting Watkins Glen. If we make our way back there we would definitely book here again!
I had the pleasure of staying at the Red Kettle Inn for two nights to explore the beautiful Watkins Glen park and town, wineries, and Finger Lakes. Trudi, the owner, was responsive, warm and welcoming, and it was wonderful getting to know her during our stay. I loved her generous breakfast (each day was different and something to look forward to) and she prepared us a little "travel goody bag" on our way out. If you're looking for a decorative, charming, clean, and quaint place to stay, the Red Kettle Inn is it. Plus, its within walking distance to the main street (great food and shopping), Seneca Lake, and the Watkins Glen State Park entrance is a 12 min walk (.6 miles). Trudi said she had one or two bikes available to bike around town, but I wanted to get to know the area by foot. The inn had a wonderful vibe and it provided a much appreciated weekend escape from NYC. I would absolutely stay here again next time I'm in the area
