Really appreciated the central location. It has stairs. Fully stocked with amenities like washer and dryer. They even provided some food items.

Great location! Great host and communication. My niece and grandniece decided on a last minute trip to Watkins Glen. Travis was gracious and accommodating. We each had our own room (but joked about sharing the one big room as a “slumber party” for one evening:) The rooms were clean and comfortable. Travis and Ashley provided continental breakfast items to start us off (bagels, yogurt, juice, creamer, coffee, tea). There were enough plates, cups, utensils, pots, and pans. The WiFi worked well Prior to arrival, Travis answered all of my questions and provided us with helpful local information. You can easily walk throughout Watkins Glen from this location. There are rental properties on each side of you and you are one street back from the Main Street. As you can see from the picture, there are steps-inside and out. They are easily manageable, as long as a short, 60 plus woman doesn’t try to carry everything inside in one trip;)

Just returned from a trip to Watkins Glen and stayed at the Madison Guest House. Great experience. Owner is very nice, friendly and responsive. The location is great a with a 2 block walk to the hiking trails. Easy downtown rock. Parking was easy. Property is nice with everything you need. Could not have been happier with our stay. I highly recommend this property and the owner.

The Madison house was lovely... we truly enjoyed our stay! Our host ,Travis, made sure we had all of the essentials , including breakfast!... the location is perfect, a quick walk or a short drive to literally everything you could want.. hiking , kayaking, great food great drinks etc.. the town of Watkins Glen has a little bit of everything and the people are so hospitable, we look forward to visiting again!!!

The Madison North house had everything I needed for a comfortable stay in Watkins Glen. I spent a few days in town with friends, and I was looking for a place in the area that was close to a little bit of everything for our adventurous group. Madison North is near N. Franklin St. - a main street - with shops and restaurants within walking distance to the house, Watkins Glen State Park (with amazing hiking paths and views of numerous waterfalls) which is ALSO within walking distance from the house, and vineyards on both sides of the Seneca Lake wine trail. We enjoyed this home, which has a fully stocked kitchen with continental breakfast items provided for guests, multiple bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms (which worked well with having 3 men and 2 women sharing 1 house - there was always an open bathroom!). The side porch has a nice fire pit, which was a pleasant surprise, and thoroughly enjoyed our last night there! Travis is a very friendly, attentive, and responsive host, who answered all my thousands of questions and offered great recommendations for places to eat, drink, and visit in town. I am so so glad that my first visit to the Finger Lakes was spent here. Madison North is a really great value compared to other listings in the area, is very warm, comfortable, and super convenient, and located on a nice quiet street. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone that likes the genuine feel of being "home away from home", but also wants to be in the middle of everything you could possible need on a dream vacation. 5 stars; thank you so much, Travis!
