The Burdett House is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The hosts are so welcoming and willing to do whatever to make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms are spotless and the house is decorated in a very tasteful way. I would definitely pay a little extra and get the breakfasts..so good. The house is located close to Watkins Glen and the many state parks with incredible waterfalls. Dave and Ashley will make your stay delightful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Burdette house! The house is beautiful, spotless, and comfortable. The house has been lovingly restored with all the modern amenities you need for a quiet getaway. The food was divine! And Ashley‘s recommendations of things to see and do in the area was very helpful. It is a quiet little town, just outside of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas, yet easily accessible to everything you need.

My husband and I were lucky enough to get a weekend stay at the Burdette house due to a cancellation. Sometimes last minute is absolutely the best and this was one of those times! Ashley and Dave put so much love and care into their home and their breakfast!!! We stayed in the Excelsior room. The bed was so comfortable the pillows awesome. Coffee on the deck! Such a great location. So quaint, peaceful, and lovely!! Our fire pit time was also delightful! We hope to see the owners again!!!

We loved our stay. The room was beautifully decorated, quiet, very comfy bed and linens, great bathroom. Both the interior and exterior are well kept and gorgeous. Ashley and Dave were amazing hosts, giving us great activity and meal suggestions and treating us with kindness and enthusiasm. The breakfast in the morning was my favorite, don’t skip it. We hiked the Gorge Trail while we were there, it was close by and incredible. We will definitely stay here on any future visit to the finger lakes region.

A wonderful, first visit to the Finger Lakes region made even lovelier by the hospitality of Ashley, Dave & Hudson at the Burdett House. The Excelsior room was clean, spacious and well air-conditioned with a lovely terrace to enjoy the sunset. The two-course breakfast was exquisite each day, and we are still dreaming of that French omelet. Having never stayed in a B&B, we were delighted to meet the other guests who were all Burdett House alums. Travelers tip, get the S’mores package and enjoy the fire pit beneath the vast, starry sky of the Finger Lakes with a glass of local Riseling. Thank you Ashley and Dave for your warm welcome, we hope to be back!

David and Ashley were the perfect hosts. David welcomed us as we walked up the porch steps. He gave us a tour of the house and of our room. We stayed in the Excelsior room. It was so full of light and beautiful. Our wine and charcuterie board that er had ordered were all ready and waiting for us. David put everything on our private balcony and we had a wonderful end to our day of travel. The breakfasts were great and so so filling. There is a coffee station that is perfect for me as I am an early riser. I am hoping to visit again at the Burdett House B&B.

We had an incredibly good time visiting the Finger Lakes area. Our 3 night stay at Burdett House could not have been more perfect. Ashley and Dave were wonderful and welcoming hosts. Beautiful and well maintained older home with very nice woodwork. We stayed in the Knickerbocker Room. Very spacious and nice. The breakfast was outstanding. Best sour dough pancakes ever ! The Burdett House gets our highest recommendation. Would absolutely stay here again next time we visit the area.

Amazing little bnb! It was our first time trying a bed and breakfast, and we absolutely adored in. Breakfast in the morning was a joy. The food was all fresh, clean, and perfectly filling. The hosts, Dave and Ashley, were exceptionally accommodating and attentive. Their attention to detail really shows and pays off. Hudson, their dog and the real boss, was so playful but also very respectful! Thank you for keeping us warm and fed!

Burdett House B&B is a true gem. Lovingly restored and beautifully decorated. And the breakfast is to die for. One of the best meals we had on our trip. David and Ashley were also the warmest hosts. We were there on Easter Sunday, and David went out of his way to find restaurants that were open that night. Many lovely touches, like the sitting room on the second floor and the provision of snacks and coffees/teas that are always available. We stayed in the Excelsior Room, which was gorgeous with its vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. And the bed with its high quality cotton bedding was so comfortable!

The hosts of this charming, well-appointed Bed and Breakfast, Ashley and Dave, are incredibly welcoming and caring, always going not just Above and Beyond with personalized attention to their guests, but EXTRAORDINARILY Above and Beyond in their tailored attention! At Burdett B & B you are treated like a true VIP, as they provide guests with a unique, stellar experience. Generously accommodating with fun perks in store, this is honestly the Most Outstanding B & B in the Finger Lakes Region (along with Ashley's famous, delectable, locally-sourced Breakfasts!!)
