Blueberry Patch Campground offers a rustic and peaceful camping experience with a focus on privacy and proximity to nature. While some guests appreciate the affordable price and convenient location near Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake, others have noted the lack of amenities and potential for falling acorns during the autumn months. The campground is primarily suited for tent campers and smaller RVs.

Visited in the fall so I missed the blueberry patch, really didn't see any blueberry bushes. In the fall it might be appropriate to coname the campground to 'acorn attack ' as the nuts were falling the whole time bouncing off the camper metal roof sounding like incoming, after later checking I didn't find any roof or appliance damage which was a good surprise. Maybe avoid late September and early October when autumn events always happen. Campground is close enough to Cornell U to be convenient, but arrive early to get one of nine sites. Also can be used for a hiking base as the trail is just along the road to the west.

Love it! I'm here early September on a weekday. There is just one loop and maybe five of the sites have people on them. I selected a site with no one around me. It's huge and perfect (#2). There is one building of two pit toilets at the beginning of the loop. They are clean but no toilet paper so be sure to bring your own just in case. It is so quiet here. Almost eerily quiet. I arrived around 7:00 p.m. last night and from then until this morning at 9:30 a.m. I don't hear any of the other campers. That is so unusual, but I love it. There's no road traffic except for the very occasional car that drives by the campground. Very peaceful. I kind of wish I was staying another day. Great location. There are plenty of brochures, with a detailed map of the forest, at the pay kiosk.

Fantastic remote campground for $15 a night. Campsites are distant from one another and the outhouse is decent! No spigot but located in a beautiful little wetland so bring your bug spray in summer!

Great place to camp if you want an actual site. The tent pad was a great size and there is a significant amount of foliage and privacy btwn sites. You can see the other sites from your camp but it's a lot better than being packed in like sardines. The fire ring and picnic table provided were well maintained and the area was peaceful. I'm so glad we have such a nice camp spot so close. Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake are very close, not to mention all the trails in the Forrest itself. Very buggy as usual in NY so be prepared.

Blueberry patch campground has been nicely updated. It is definitely rustic camping with no water or electricity but it does have latrines in good condition. There are nine well maintained sites. It is first come first served so no reservations needed. You can pull your car right into the campsite so you don't need to hike in. It is great for tent camping or a small camper. If you are looking for peace and quiet it is much nicer than the big campgrounds. This is camping right in the woods. $15 a night is a great price.
