Willenaway Bed & Breakfast offers a charming and welcoming experience with excellent hospitality and delicious homemade breakfasts. Guests consistently praise the property’s comfortable rooms, convenient location near Watkins Glen, and the hosts’ friendly service and local recommendations. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway or exploring the Finger Lakes region.
We go to Willenaway B&B every year in November, and absolutely love it! The communication is always quick and effective. We adore Kate and always enjoy getting some time to spend with her each year!
The breakfast in the morning was soo soo good. Kate was a wonderful hostess. Very welcoming and friendly. The spooky Halloween decorations were great. The room was very nice, and very romantic (with a big TV too!) It's a few houses down from Shquaga Falls, and right down the road from Watkins Glen Park.
Kate was Phenomenal! Very accommodating last minute spur of the moment we took a trip to Watkins Glen for our 10th anniversary! Our first time ever staying at a Bed & Breakfast and it was so cute and quaint. Breakfast was delicious!!! ? very clean accommodations and bathrooms. Located up on a hill was the only drawback to the place at all but overall a great experience! Would do it again!
My family and I cannot recommend enough staying at the Willenaway Bed and Breakfast and enjoying Kate and Mimi's hospitality! From the historic charm of the house to the peacefulness of the property, you'll be sure to find something to love here. The house is in a great location close to shops, restaurants, and the state park, while still secluded enough to not have any street noise. The rooms (View from the Top pictured) are cozy, clean, and the perfect place to rest. There is plenty of storage in both the room and bathroom. Every morning you get a hearty and nutritious breakfast made from scratch by Mimi. There is always a selection of coffee, tea, juices, fruit, and pastries/baked goods. Kate also has fantastic stories about the house and lots of recommendations on places to visit to get your day started. Do yourself a favor and stay at Willenaway when you visit Watkins Glen!
Five stars across the board. Excellent room (we stayed in the Mary Liz Suite), breakfast was great, location is five minute drive from downtown Watkins Glen and maybe 10 minutes from the Gorge hiking trail. Service was great. Very cozy B&B. They even had Netflix provided in all the rooms, which was a nice treat. We would stay here again without hesitation.
We had a great stay at Willenaway B&B! The B&B is in a beautiful old house that's been freshly decorated and was extremely cozy. We stayed in the Ruffled Roost room, which has a beautiful clawfoot tub. If you're worried about privacy because the bathroom is detached, don't be; it's just outside the room at the end of a hall so nobody will see you, plus the owner provides bathrobes. We stayed for 6 nights and got a different hearty breakfast each morning. Our favorites dishes were the French toast and croissant sandwiches. Excellent place to explore the Finger Lakes from.
Our stay here was amazing! I almost don't know where to begin. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The location is beautiful, very convenient being right in town but it's set up off the road and the trees & flowers surrounding the home give it a peaceful, secluded feeling. Walking inside feels right at home, like you're staying with family. The historic character of the house is so well preserved, looking around you can spot old photos and newspapers that add to the charm. Our room was beautiful, well kept, and the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway. Kate was so kind and accommodating, she made sure we had everything we needed, chatted with us and told us about local activities going on; and Mimi's breakfast was so delicious, her food got us going for a busy couple of days. I would absolutely stay here in the future and would recommend to anyone staying in the area as well! Thank you, Kate and Mimi!
