My wife and I stayed two nights and it was excellent. The location is perfect, just out of town enough to be quiet but five minutes to the lake with restaurants and pubs. The house has a very interesting and colorful history over its 180 or so years, and this only adds to the experience. One thing that is a non-negotiable for us is a private bathroom, and all the rooms here have one. The breakfasts were fantastic and a great way to start a day of hiking or wine tasting. I highly recommend this house, you will love it!

The 5 stars status is absolutely deserved! Christine and Joe made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived til we left. There was so much love in every detail of our stay, they printed out a comprehensive list of all the events nearby, told us about the history of the house and the wildlife in the yard, Christine made delicious breakfasts every morning and we had a variety of snacks available all day along with a vast selection of beverages, also they kept her away til we said we were dog people, but they have a happy dog named Annie that I adored! We stayed at the Mary Liz and the room was large, clean and pretty, the bed was comfy and we woke up to the sound of birds. The sky is very starry here because the light pollution is low. It was delightful to stroll by Shequaga Falls on our way to the restaurant, so it’s a short drive to many beautiful hikes and also a great walkable area around it. It was a flawless stay and I’m so glad I chose them! I’ll definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Willenaway! Christine and Joe were lovely hosts! Just incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful all around. They gave us some great tips about where to view the 4th of July fireworks and the best swimming holes nearby. The house has tons of interesting history too! Our room was large, clean, and comfortable and the grounds around the inn are so beautiful and peaceful. I could not recommend a stay here more!!

Christine and Joe are the perfect hosts. Delicious hearty breakfast served with smiles and accoutrements and fresh coffee ready as soon as we got up. The inn is beautiful and fascinating to explore with history dating back to the 1800's. The rooms were immaculate and so charming with a spacious private bathroom in each. Falls within walking distance and just minutes from Watkins Glen and many nice restaurants for dining. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing in the country setting with flowers all around. Can't wait to visit again.

Totally exceeded my expectations. B&B’s can often feel a little risky even after reading reviews but this place was truly wonderful. It’s super clean and the aesthetics and vibes are on point. Time appropriate to the home but with such a great modern twit. SUPER CLEAN. Just such cozy vibes all around. 10/10

Christine & Joe are excellent hosts, passionate about their stewardship of this historic property and ensuring that their guests have a very pleasant stay. The home is gorgeous and accessible. Even being in a neighborhood, perched high on the hill ensures a quiet and relaxing stay. We loved hearing about the history of the home that they continue to research. The food was delicious and Christine is an adventurous chef, always looking to make a hearty meal that stands out. The bed was super cozy and accommodations and extras were A+. They had great recommendations of local places to see. You won’t regret staying here - everything was fabulous!!

Christine was an impeccable host. She was responsive, accommodating, kind, and a joy to talk to. We had such a wonderful stay. She greeted us with freshly made cookies in the evening and made a delicious and filling breakfast for us in the morning. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed in early spring when snow was still on the ground, and we loved our little getaway. Perfect way to spend a birthday weekend with my husband. Highly recommend staying here. There's a large amount of space on the main floor for activities as well.

Christine was a terrific host for our overnight in Montour Falls, recommending a great dinner spot in town and helpful with our hiking plans in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and full of interesting conversation.

We go to Willenaway B&B every year in November, and absolutely love it! The communication is always quick and effective. We adore Kate and always enjoy getting some time to spend with her each year!

The breakfast in the morning was soo soo good. Kate was a wonderful hostess. Very welcoming and friendly. The spooky Halloween decorations were great. The room was very nice, and very romantic (with a big TV too!) It's a few houses down from Shquaga Falls, and right down the road from Watkins Glen Park.
