Watkins Motel is a great place to stay. Rooms are well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The folks at the front desk are friendly and helpful - They want your stay to be pleasant. The motel rooms behind the main building and back from the highway, making it quiet. Free morning coffee is offered in the office. We will definitely be returning here.

The Watkins Motel is not just a place to stay, but an experience. Not even two blocks from the famous Watkins Glen, the Watkins Motel sits in the middle of the small town owned by the amazing and very sweet Hong family. Clarissa Hong, the owner, along with her husband are very kind, very friendly, and always have great advice for that day’s adventure. The motel rooms are very clean, ours came with two beds, a bathroom, small fridge, microwave, and a tv that was all very cozy and a great reprieve after a busy day of walking. I will be telling everyone to come here, not just to see Watkins Glen, but to talk with Mama Hong and her family her who were not only funny and witty, but full of area knowledge that superseded any books we’ve read about this place. My family and I will be back in the fall, so Mama Hong, you better save a room for us! 15 out of 10. Best experience one could have.

Stayed here for a wedding because we cou get into the Harbor hotel. Fantastic place, and immaculately clean. Great value and easy walking to all of down town.

Clean rooms and walking distance to the state park and downtown. Local family owned business that have lived in Watkins for close to 40 years, so they know the area super well. Would definitely recommend this motel for location, convenience, and service!

This place was a lovely surprise. You never expect much from a motel, the rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable, and we slept really well - despite being on the main road, it was very quiet, being just that little bit set back. The owners and staff are lovely too. Be aware, there's no food provided, but there is fresh coffee, and tea making things in reception, and you can go to Toby's donut shop for breakfast (would also really recommend this) The location is great - only a 5 min walk to downtown, and 2 minutes to the State Park

I had a great stay at Watkins Motel! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The staff was welcoming and made me feel at home. Parking was easy and convenient, and the location is perfect for exploring Watkins Glen. Highly recommend! ?????

Nice clean rooms, quiet. Was extremely impressed. Motels are hit or miss. This was great and the owner and staff where all friendly and professional.

We booked this motel a long time ago through Booking.com. The reservation was for one room with two queen beds for four people. When we arrived, the place looked very basic. It is run by East Asian staff, probably Chinese. The manager told us the room was ready but asked for an extra 30 dollars because we were four guests. In the US, hotels and motels usually charge per room, not per person, especially when no breakfast is included. And this place doesn’t offer any kind of breakfast. The room was small compared to other motels. It was very basic. The air conditioner was extremely noisy. We had to turn it off and sleep in the heat. The staff spoke only very basic English, which made communication difficult. This stay was disappointing. The unexpected extra charge felt unfair. The room was cramped and noisy. The AC made it hard to sleep. I would not recommend this place unless you just need a bed for one night and nothing else.

We booked this place for a night and it was perfect. The owner is friendly and helpful. She gave us tips for sightseeing and dinner. The rooms are comfortable and our parking was right outside our door. Shops, restaurants and waterfront are 10-15 min walk. The best part is the Watkins Glen State Park is across the street. We did an early morning hike and had time to come back and shower before heading out. We would definitely come back.
