Fantastic stay at the Grist Iron Lodge. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, and the views are absolutely spectacular. We had zero issues during our stay. The location is also hard to beat. You’re right next to Grist Iron Brewing, with several other breweries just a short drive away, plus more wineries than you could possibly visit in one trip. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend if you’re spending a few days exploring the Seneca Lake area.

Excellent overall experience. From ease of booking to (over) communication regarding stay (not a bad thing). Check in was smooth and they even give you some tokens for beer next door. Room was cool with good A/C in summer. Bed was comfortable. Room could have used a chair to sit in as bed was set up higher than able to sit and tie shoes. Breakfast was solid with lots of different choices. Would absolutely stay again as home base for visiting area.

I would have given all 5 stars and a rating of 10 but this time the selection at breakfast and the speed at which items were replenished was not as well organized as previous times we have stayed there. Therefore a 4 of 5 for service. Our room upgrade was fantastic. The wooden coins for drinks at the brewery is a wonderful touch. Our rooms were cleaned after the first night even though we stayed two nights. That doesn't happen at hotels. So overall we loved our stay and will definitely stay again.

This location has an absolutely amazing sunset! There were complimentary ice cold beers on tap for all of us during the check in process, which was very quick, and you get to keep the souvenir pint glasses! The rooms were exceptionally clean, and very roomy, minifridges were full of everything (all types of beers!) we needed, snacks available. Ice and coffee available 24/7 and a great breakfast...Bands at the brewery next door each night, with good food as well. Not fine dining, but better than we expected.....perfect actually. A great fire pit that all the guests gathered at in the evening and got to know each other. An all around great, accommodating, friendly place! I would recommend.

The Lodge at the Grist Iron Brewery is a fabulous place to stay. Our room was large and had a beautiful view of Seneca Lake. The staff is welcoming and they have thought of everything you will need for your stay. The hotel is located close to Watkins Glen where you can visit the Watkins Glen State Park which is breathtaking place to hike! We will definitely come back next year!!

We stayed in the Mapleview Room in the Farmhouse. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was great. Plenty of hot water. The breakfast and the service were good. We appreciated the little things like real maple syrup, local honey, a selection of teas and the drink token for the brewery. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because of the noise from the road - it was VERY loud. Other than that, it was great!

Absolutely amazing stay! We stayed at the Farmhouse, it was perfect- clean, spacious and cozy! The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. We ate at the Brewery and the food was fantastic. Hands down my favorite place to eat in the Glen. The atmosphere is very laid back and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lodge at Grist Iron. The setting overlooking Seneca Lake is absolutely beautiful, and the views really made the experience special. Everything about our stay felt easy and relaxing...it was exactly the kind of getaway we needed. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-kept, and it made it easy to settle in and unwind after a day of exploring. We spent time at the brewpub, which had a great atmosphere and excellent beer, and even got in a round at their Beer Mountain disc golf course, which was a really fun and unique addition. It was the perfect balance of activity and downtime. It’s the kind of place where you can truly slow down, take in the scenery, and recharge. We’d definitely come back.

We loved our stay! The room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. We loved the fireplace and balcony and view. The soaking tub and tokens for a free drink upon arrival were nice touches. The continental breakfast was just right for us, especially loved the fresh fruit. Also, although we didn't bring our pups, we loved the 6 acre dog park and that they would be welcome. Our only suggestion would be adding a water bottle filling station in the lobby.

Celebrating a short birthday overnight & the Grist Iron campus did not disappoint! Spacious rooms, great fire pit area, & close to the brewery, what's not to like? We'll be back, spend more time, and use the Lakeside Trolley with Grist Iron as our anchor. Thanks GIB team!
