Finger Lakes RV Resort receives overwhelmingly positive reviews, consistently praised for its spacious sites, cleanliness, and convenient location within the Finger Lakes wine region. Guests highlight the friendly owners, well-maintained facilities, and a variety of nearby attractions, making it a popular choice for RV travelers and families.
This is a beautiful, dog friendly campground! We loved our stay and plan to return. The sites are spacious and laid out well. The bathrooms/bath houses are very clean, private, and nicer than a hotel! There are two wineries that are within walking distance which is awesome. They also provide you with a passport during check-in to local wineries/breweries for discounts. It gave us a reason to get out and try new places. We had so much fun and can’t wait to go back!
This is by far the best RV resort we have stayed. We have been full timing for 4 years now and have been across the country. The owners are also RVers which you can tell by how they designed the spaces. Plenty of space between you and your neighbor. There's trash pick up and they also will take your propane tank and fill it up for you (payment required). We plan on coming back and will recommend to anyone looking to venture around the Finger Lakes area! Plenty of wineries and breweries in the area plus a distillery down the street. Two wineries are also in walking distance from the park which is convenient. A beautiful sunset almost every night we were there too! If you come up from the south don't miss hector falls like we did!
This was our third stay at Finger Lakes RV Resort, and it continues to be one of our favorite RV parks anywhere. This trip was especially memorable because we brought our toddler along, and the resort once again exceeded our expectations. The park has a quiet, peaceful atmosphere and is also very welcoming to both families and dogs, making it easy to relax and enjoy the area together. The location is hard to beat. You're just minutes from Watkins Glen, numerous hiking trails, wineries, breweries, and other Finger Lakes attractions. During this visit we enjoyed nearby Hector Wine Company and Red Newt Cellars, both of which were exceptionally welcoming to families and dogs. Having a Walmart and other conveniences close by is also a huge plus. The resort itself is beautiful. The sites are spacious, well-maintained, and easily accommodate larger rigs while still providing plenty of room to spread out. The grounds are exceptionally clean, aesthetically pleasing, and offer some absolutely stunning sunset views. At night, the peaceful setting makes it easy to unwind, and the stars are often clearly visible overhead. What truly sets Finger Lakes RV Resort apart, though, are the owners. As a family-owned business, they provide a level of hospitality that is becoming increasingly rare. They are incredibly helpful, accommodating, and genuinely care about their guests. Throughout our stays they have always gone above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, and this visit was no exception. If you're looking for a clean, beautiful, dog-friendly campground with a quiet, relaxing atmosphere and excellent access to everything the Finger Lakes region has to offer, I can't recommend Finger Lakes RV Resort highly enough. We keep coming back for a reason, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.
This is the best RV resort on Seneca lake. Big lots, excellent hookups. All 50 amp. Very nice clean shower and restrooms. Big deck area and covered area with fire pit for larger get together. Huge indoor billiard room with comfortable seating and chessboard and other games. A small exercise room off of that. EV plug in area. Firewood and propane on site. Small store with a well stocked clothing and camping accessories. I can not say enough about the best ever staff. They know the area well and can help with any issue you might have with your stay. One disclaimer, if you are coming in with a longer rig, DO NOT turn on Tichenor road. Go around the Dandy convince store to prevent bottoming out on Tichenor road.
Really enjoyed this great RV resort. It is very clean the sites are huge, with a level gravel base. We had full hookups and a pull- thru site. So many wineries nearby including 2 you can to. Water pressure was great. Bathhouse was very clean. Cookies at check in was unexpected but very tasty. The only negative was the WiFi for television reception was spotty. We were only using it because it was so cold and wet when we were there. But still this is a 10 out of 10 for sure.
Rachel & Doug have a top notch property and vibe. They've thought of everything AND the location is in our favorite spot on Seneca Lake, HECTOR. Toni's Diner, Scale House, Two Goats, SMC & Atwater Wineries, Lucky Hare, Sith Park, Watkins Glen State Park, Overlook Coffee... too many amazing places close by to list! Stay here.
We had a wonderful stay at Finger Lakes RV Resort! It was our first time in this area and it did not disappoint! The clubhouse (with a fitness center) is brand new and we spent a couple of hours in there on a rainy night playing checkers and pool. I used the fitness center every morning. I know not everyone likes to workout on vacation, but it was perfect! We didn't use the bathhouse, since we have our own in the RV, but we went inside and wow - very impressive! The campsite itself was very spacious - we did not feel like we were on top of the people next to us. We loved that we could walk to Red Newt and Hector Wineries - there were trails to both. There is also a trail to Toni's Diner, which we walked to twice for breakfast! We spent a day in Watkins Glen hiking, which is only about a 15 minute ride from the site. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend it to anyone with an RV or wanting to camp!
This campground is beautifully done! In the heart of Seneca wine country, the sites are very large and lots of space! The bathrooms were the nicest campground bathrooms I’ve ever experienced. The staff was wonderful and friendly, they offer garbage pickup and propane tank pick up right at your site. Red Newt Wine Cellar and Hector Winery are both within easy walking distance. There are another 20 or so wineries, breweries and distilleries within a 10 minute drive either direction. Such a wonderful way to spend the weekend!
We love this campground. We try to get to the Finger Lakes every fall, and this year we were a little earlier than usual, but still enjoyed the stay. Unfortunately we got some rain, but it was the perfect time to catch up on some laundry, in their all facility which is clean and state of the art. We also loved the new addition of the clubhouse with pool table and workout room. The bathhouse is also immaculate. The campground is also walking distance between 2 wineries via a trail to the properties. It's a nice and relaxing place to stay.
Just got home from 3 night stay. Very new RV park and I was very impressed with the design and layout. Sites spacious and spread out. Maintaining the park is obviously given a high priority judging by the immaculate bathroom and laundry facilities. They have partnered with 2 wineries within walking distance and a brewery that is a very short drive - all of which offer some sort of discount or special for guests. A few of the reviewers complained about the many rules and policies but they are communicated during the reservation process and appear to be consistently enforced. As a result, the park is quiet and orderly. I only hope I can get back when the young trees are mature. Kudos to the owners!
