Best attention to detail of any place we've stayed. Host (Heather) is helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Little amenities other places don't think of. Clean! So pleasant and would recommend to anyone!

Had a great stay at Heather’s place. She was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Marty was also extremely helpful in getting us settled in. Extra amenities are a great touch, including fans in the bedrooms and plenty of linens. Wine, cheese and crackers were an extra special surprise. Carafes of water were appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay for us as we were involved in a week-long riding program at Painted Bar Stables just up the street. Easy, safe walk to the couple of places for food & drink in the "center" of town. Heather is a very responsive host, gave a thoughtful, friendly on-site orientation and has a very helpful binder of area info plus a useful map. If you're here during the fall and winter seasons, and you're using the heat (regulated by wall thermostat), best to be aware that the two bedrooms run colder than the LR/DR/Kitchen open area. Her kitchen is well-appointed with equipment and amenities. The LR/DR furniture is comfy. The two bedrooms front the main road through town so if early morning vehicle noise is an issue for you, she does thoughtfully provide earplugs in the bedside table! There's a mega Wegman's in Ithaca 30 minutes from Burdett, as well as a Super Walmart Center in Watkins Glen (with more restaurants) only minutes away.

My family and I really enjoyed our visit and enjoyed the accommodations. One thing we liked is the personal touch being greeted by Heather's mom. My family liked the decor and look of the apartment. It was well appointed with extra details that made our stay more enjoyable. Heather and her mom were responsive to our needs and questions. There were many places to visit in the area and the views were great in the surrounding areas.

Great location in the Finger Lakes area! Outstanding and thoughtful amenities. Very clean. Heather really goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. We had a great time!

Heather’s place is very nice, spotless, and beautifully decorated. It’s in a convenient location, close to the city center and plenty of places to eat, which makes it very easy to get around. Heather herself is an excellent host, she is extremely responsive and thoughtful. She even leaves wine, cheese, and crackers for guests, which is such a warm and welcoming gesture.The only thing that wasn’t quite ideal for me personally is that the place felt a little too cold for my comfort. However, this might not be an issue for everyone.Overall, I truly recommend Heather’s home for anyone looking for a clean, stylish, and well-located stay.
