My experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing, particularly when dealing with the front desk staff. It took nine attempts before someone finally answered the phone, and communication throughout the process was difficult and frustrating. The staff came across as dismissive and argumentative, and I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, even when I had clear information regarding my reservation. I also experienced significant issues with a cancellation request. I submitted the request three days before my scheduled check-in, but the property did not respond. I contacted Booking.com to confirm the status of my reservation and was advised to reach out directly to the hotel. When I finally managed to speak with the property, the staff disputed the situation rather than helping resolve it. As a result, I am now apparently being charged a $25 fee despite having submitted my cancellation request in a timely manner. Overall, the lack of communication, difficulty reaching the property, and unhelpful customer service made this a very frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend improving both the responsiveness and professionalism of the front desk staff.

Stayed 4 days while vacationing. Owners were great, room clean, quiet , and location within walking distance of Watkins Glen Park.

Excellent location. You simply got everything what you need in short walk distance. Gas station, market, pharmacy, liquor store, ice cream shop. About 15 minutes walk to the state park and about 25 to the marina. Rooms are very clean, beds comfortable and updated bathroom. On the back of the building there is a small waterfall. Motel is located on busy street so you can hear a noises from trucks passing by. Overall we really enjoyed staying. Definitely will come back

I made this reservation through Booking.com because my wife and I wanted to spend a nice, relaxing time in Watkins Glen. After checking into the hotel, we left our luggage in the room and went out to explore the area and have something to eat. Later that evening, around 10 PM, we decided to go to bed. Unfortunately, it was the worst bed I have ever slept on. My back is still hurting because of it. On top of that, there was only one small bottle of shampoo provided for the room, which was disappointing.Overall, it was a very poor experience, so I gave the hotel a 1-star rating on Booking.com. A short time later, I received a phone call asking why I had given a 1-star review, and they told me that I should delete it. Are you serious? I am a customer, and I simply shared my honest experience. You cannot call me and ask me to remove my review. That is completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

Very clean, comfortable and affordable. Across from Tops supermarket and 5 minutes walk to the start of the Glen gorge trail. A simple breakfast was provided.

Room small and Nothing convenient Bathroom wired so you could not plug in nite light when you turned off switch that shut off all outlets. Look ok from outside and that’s where it ends!!!!!

The owner is nice. Very close to the fall, only 5mn driving We had an issue with the room and the owner was able to change us right away. They have also free breakfast!

The hotel is after renovations. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The location is great.

Very clean. Light continental breakfast. Only issue was trying to checkout. No easy way to checkout and waited for nearly 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk to leave keys (these are actual keys with room numbers). There was no drop box. Minor inconvenience but would not want a key I'm responsible for left where someone else could pick it up because it was unattended.

Overall place was very clean, recently updated. Bed was comfy. The bathroom was a bit small shower wise but not bad. Again it was clean and recently updated. Staff which I assume were the owners were not very friendly. No sign on the door to ring bell or anything if door was locked. Place is in town but not in the middle of everything which was nice. I would do again if by myself.
