No corporate bureaucracy here at this charming little escape on the lake. We enjoyed a one night stay at this nice clean motel. Rooms seemed updated and were very spacious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The only good thing was the location close to the Watkins Glen State park. I don’t know where the reviews about a clean room came from. But this room had not been cleaned properly in the past 5 years. Old stains in the sheets, water damage stains on the ceiling. Moldy smelling room even though there was a dehumidifier in the bathroom. More stains on the curtains, walls and furniture. The stains in the bathroom were disgusting the sink is all cracked and the shower floor looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in 20 years. The phone was a real health risk. Everything was old accept for the way to firm matras that was in need of a softer topper.

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay, I highly recommend this motel. While it isn't the newest or most modern property, it is exceptionally clean. The rooms were spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the shower and towels were excellent. The location was perfect for our trip. Less then 5 mins away from the town of Watkins Glen and within walking distance of a few beautiful waterfalls. The management was friendly, informative, and genuinely welcoming, and the housekeeping staff made it easy to get extra towels. We also appreciated the light breakfast (coffee, tea, muffins, pastries, orange/apple juice, fruit, etc..) This isn't a fancy, upscale hotel, but it offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. It felt cozy, peaceful, and they provide comfortable chairs outside your door if you want to enjoy your breakfast in the cool weather, or enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. We stayed three nights, and would absolutely stay here again. We were so glad we found this hidden gem! ? Bonus: We ate at the following resturants in town and we would highly recommend them if staying at The Falls Motel. 1. Seneca Harbor Station (mostly seafood and other entress). Also located on Seneca Lake for an amazing ambiance. You can even enjoy a walk out on the pier and rocks after your meal. 2. Jerlando's Ristorante & Pizza Co.(Italian food). Delicious food and great service too. 3. Breakfast - Tobey's Donut Shop (Fresh made breakfast sandwiches and homemade donuts - their selection to amazing. 4. Spotted Duck - This is a 36 minute drive from motel but definitely worth the drive and frozen custard. Spotted Duck offers 8 daily flavor homemade custards made from duck eggs and organic milk. We order the flight of 8 custard to try each one, and they were ALL amazing. Thank you, The Falls Motel, for making our time in Walkins Glen awesome. We will definitely come back and stay with yall again.

For $800+ for 3 nights , I was expecting more.. Fridge hardly worked, we had to get ice to keep it cold. Didn't get room service. The bare minimum amenities like soap were provided. The hot water ran out. -_- "Breakfast" was coffee and 2 kinds of plastic-packaged muffins. The folks running it were nice enough but not particularly warm or welcoming. It's not even within walking distance of watkins glen. Unless you feel like walking a few miles. Dissapointed to say the least. However, to its benefit, it was clean and had AC. 2 comfy recliners and a TV. A nice little patio with a view. You could walk to Shequaga falls or pizzeria. Overall it did not meet my expectations.

Perfect location for what we needed. Not far from the venue where my niece was married. Restaurants are just down the road. Management is very nice and informative. Cleaning staff is very thorough and respectful of property. We stayed two nights and would stay again.

CLEAN! Highly recommend this place. Not the most modern place but clean, clean, clean. I found this place soothing and comfy. What a find. Nice chair to sit on and have a drink. Walk ability was great. Close to restaurants and a few waterfalls (walk to.)

Quiet Mom & Pop Motel. Very well taken care of. Nice place to stay.

Stained sheets,chunks of dirt or something in a/c ... spider webs all over. Not sure why anyone would say this is even an adequate space. Even considered leaving window open rather than using the a/c...stay away!!!!

Visit to Watkins Glen and this motel was perfect location. Room is clean, frig, microwave.. Would definitely recommend this spot for a visit to this lovely area

We were so fortunate to find this place! The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower and towels were perfect! This is not your fancy upscale motel, but it meets your needs. The service was wonderful, and there was even a light breakfast. I will definitely stay there again!
