3 months agoStaff is excellent and friendly. The view is spectacular! Close to so much, no matter what you are into. Reasonable rates for this area too. I enjoyed it so much the first time, it is now my top choice when I return to the area.

3 months agoThis review is only about my interaction with the owners of Gorgeous View motel which shows a commitment to customer service that I rarely see. I cannot evaluate the motel itself since I had to leave the area early due to the unhealthy air quality from the Canadian wildfires. My primary interaction was with Mike. When I was booking, he went above and beyond to help sort out a scheduling problem, something that he did not have to do because it should have been handled by the website with which I booked the stay. Also, I had to cancel my reservation in less than the required 7 days and Mike offered me a large refund even though he had been unable to book the room again due to my short cancellation notice. He was kind, understanding and extremely generous. I would stay at Gorgeous View motel just on the basis of the excellent customer service.

6 months agoThis is a bare minimum hotel. Great price especially if you're only staying for one night and just passing through. The rooms were clean and they served the purpose that we needed it for.

7 months agoVery clean establishment over looking Seneca Lake. Can tell it’s recently been renovated. Provided a very nice/clean over night stay for my husband and I.

11 months agoDo NOT pass by this adorable motel with beautiful rooms and a view! I stayed one night (11/4/25) and it was wonderful! Mike, the owner, is super friendly and very accommodating! Definitely going back as soon as I can!

about 1 year agoMy wife and I come here, we try, two times a year for wine and food around the lakes. Need to sleep and sleep what we do in this motel. It is adequate for staying overnight. We bring our own pillows and comforters to feel like at home. The place is run well, with love. Brenda is very polite and caring. She runs the place with her husband and two sons. And most important, it is not expensive. ~140$ a night. Other places go over 200$. No thanks.
